An important update regarding Hodder Education Events

After careful consultation regarding the health and safety of all students and teachers at our events, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all Teacher Workshops and Student Conferences until 29th May. Our Events team will be in touch with all schools booked on to cancelled events.

To speak to someone about your event please contact 01295 222777 or email events@hoddereducation.co.uk

Student and Teacher Webinars

All Teacher and Student Webinars will still take place as planned; however, we are opening the access to all webinars so that students and teachers can watch the sessions at home, whenever they want.
To find out more about our webinars, please visit www.hoddereducation.co.uk/events

Extended Access to Revision Webinars

To support teachers and students during this uncertain period, we are pleased to announce that we are extending the access to the recordings of all Revision Webinars to 10 months (up from 6 months), meaning you can now use it as a revision tool for mocks in 2021. As well as this, you can also share the link to watch the recordings of all Revision Webinars with your Year 10/12 students so they can watch from home - without the need for log-in details.

Furthermore, invoices for all events are sent post-event so there will be no delay in accessing any of our webinars.

Frequently Asked Questions about Events

I was booked onto a Teacher Workshop and/or Student Conference, has that been cancelled?

After careful consultation regarding the health and safety of all students and teachers at our events, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all Teacher Workshops and Student Conferences until 29th May. Our Events team will be in touch with all schools booked on to cancelled events. As we invoice schools post-event, we won't have to issue any refunds. If you paid via debit/credit card, we can arrange a full refund.

Will the Teacher and Student Webinars still run? How do I give access to my students to watch from home?

Yes, we will still be running our upcoming webinars as planned, even though the Government has instructed all schools to close. We have decided to open access to the recording of all webinars in 2020 so that you can share the recording link with your students as they revise from home. The live webinar can still only be watched from one computer however, the recording link can be shared and accessed by students from home simply by sharing the URL in your recording email. Please note, the recording link will be sent to the email address registered to attend the webinar, the next working day.

Can we watch just the recording of the webinar or do we have to watch it live?

You don't have to watch the live webinar; you can simply just purchase a webinar to share the recording with your students. Please note, the recording link will be sent to the email address registered to attend the webinar, the next working day. Students will not be able to attend the live event as only 1 log in has been purchased.

What about your Teacher Workshops or Student Conferences in June, will these take place?

We will make a decision shortly on the status of our face-to-face events that are meant to run June and July. Once a decision has been made, we will be in contact with all schools booked on.
