Metacognition is recognised by the EEF toolkit as “one of the most highly effective approaches to improve student outcomes, especially those that come from disadvantaged backgrounds”, however the practice of developing this skill is often misunderstood by many.

Our brand-new in-venue workshop, led by expert Rosie Hussain, will provide you with clear, practical guide to embed metacognition and self-regulation into your classroom, in order to improve the outcomes of all students. During the day, Rosie will identify strategies to develop metacognitive behaviours, highlight how to recognise self-regulation opportunities in your lessons and provide you with an action plan to implement it in your school.
