3.35pm Introduction to the principles of Flipped Learning
  • Exploring the principles of flipped learning – how can we flip what is traditionally seen as “classwork” with “homework”?
  • Dealing with possible barriers to successful flipping
  • The flipped classroom and blended learning
4.30pm Mini break
4.40pm Strategies for the flipped classroom
  • Build a portfolio of ideas for the classroom – how best can we use it
  • Discuss increasing the exploratory nature of learning and raising your one to one interaction with students.

  • Review of the previous session  – discussions
  • Learn how to use homework to cover basic knowledge and understanding
