Hodder Education has joined forces with International Early Years to bring you a three-day programme that will equip you with the confidence to lead and drive lasting change at your centre.
Coming to Westminster this Autumn

What is the EYFS Mastery Programme?
The EYFS Mastery Programme is a unique early years’ leadership event, designed and led by internationally renowned presenters, Sue Egersdorff and Pam Mundy.
During the programme, they will help you to become a more resilient leader who is able to meet the growing demands of working in a high-pressured early learning setting; so that children in your care experience improved outcomes and the highest quality learning environment.
How long does the programme last?
The programme consists of 3 face-to-face contact days and 2 live online sessions and also includes intersessional tasks over the course of 3 months.
Contact days are held at LEYF Marsham Street Community Nursery, Westminster
Thursday, 28 September 2017, 10.00am - 4.00pm
Thursday, 2 November 2017, 10.00am - 4.00pm
Thursday, 30 November 2017, 10.00am - 4.00pm

The contact days will take place in an ‘Outstanding’ LEYF provision, providing the additional opportunity for you to take part in facilitated ‘learning walks’, to discuss best practice with experts and to network widely.

Intersession webinars:
Webinar #1: Thursday, 19 October 2017, 5.00pm - 5.45pm
Webinar #2: Thursday, 16 November 2017, 5.00pm - 5.45pm

Between the contact days, the offer of live intersessional webinars will extend your learning and focus on the personally selected ‘challenge tasks’ related to your own practice and improvement priorities will enable impact to be visible.
What will be covered during the contact days?
The programme is designed around 6 core elements which are introduced over the three face-to-face contact days.
The core elements have been carefully planned, to support you in moving through a process of discovering yourself as a leader, leading your team, leading your organisation and developing relationships with wider stakeholders.

The uniqueness of the programme lies in the blended learning and practical application approach, allowing you to draw insights from a range of perspectives and to trial ideas in ‘real time’ in your own setting.

It is designed to build strategic expertise, consistency of practice and sustainable operational development at a manageable cost to schools and settings and to the maximum advantage of early years children.
