  • The heart and blood - names and functions
10.30am Movement analysis
  • An interactive session on levers, movement analysis and planes and axes
  • Ways to remember and tips on how to apply and evaluate
11.00am Morning break
11.15am Physical training
  • Activities to secure AO1
  • Sporting examples for AO2
  • Confidence to ‘justify’
11.45am Socio-cultural influences
  • The impact of technology - keeping up with changes
  • Drugs - who takes what and why
12.15pm Lunch (please bring your own lunches)
12.45pm Sport psychology
  • Clever ways to remember concepts and how to apply them to specific sporting activities
  • A look at how these areas may be examined, gaining an understanding of how to succeed
1.15pm Health, fitness and well-being
  • Factors leading to and effecting obesity
  • The importance of hydration
  • Facilitating extended question thinking
2.00pm One-hour mock exam
  • Students will sit a mock exam, under examination conditions
  • Scripts will be marked by the presenter team and sent back to your school with individual feedback
3.00pm Student day ends
