What on Earth Publishing
What on Earth Publishing publishes children’s non-fiction books that engage their natural curiosity and passion for learning. It aims to offer readers diverse perspectives on the world and help them connect the dots to build a lifetime love of learning.

The children’s publishing company was founded in 2010 by non-fiction author and educator, Christopher Lloyd, giving rise to a range of timeline books and other titles under the What on Earth Books (WoEB) imprint. In 2019, the company formed a strategic partnership with Britannica Inc and launched Britannica Books, a second imprint, with the Britannica All New Children’s Encyclopedia: What We Know and What We Don’t. This is the first in an ambitious series of new Britannica children’s non-fiction titles to be published over the next few years.
