  • Language of Measurement (LoM) in practical work and exam questions

  • Putting together a strategic plan to deliver the course
  • A focus on specific topics, including biochemistry, genetics and ecology
  • The importance of linking back to AS topics

1.10pm Different types of exam question
  • A look at multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short answered questions, level of response (LoR) questions, data analysis and data interpretation questions and practical skills questions using LoM terminology
  • Common misconceptions and exam errors
2.10pm Afternoon break
2.20pm Revision techniques and the support available
  • Turning knowledge and understanding into marks on Papers 1, 2 and 3
