  • An overview of the new AQA Key Stage 3 Science curriculum  
11.00am Morning coffee
11.15am Embedding the principles of mastery and inquiry through high quality teaching, learning and investigative work in Key Stage 3 Science
  •  How do these principles support learning at Key Stage 3?
12.15pm Lunch
1.15pm Assessing Science at Key Stage 3
  • How do we assess science effectively without levels?
2.15pm Implications for GCSE Science
  • How do we build progression into the Key Stage 3 curriculum
  • This session will include tea and coffee
3.15pm Review and reflect
3.30pm Course ends
3.35pm Optional session exploring Hodder Education's AQA Key Stage 3 Science resources
