About the Author(s):
Before retirement, Professor Johan Naudé was a renowned and well respected urologist and transplant surgeon as well as a Past President of the South African Urological Association. Having shared an organ transplant unit with legendary transplant surgeon Christiaan Barnard, Professor Naudé was awarded the moniker of 'The Poor Man's Christiaan Barnard', an amusing appellation that often led to confusion among his patients!
