About the Author(s):
Paul Fairclough is an AS Principal Examiner and Head of Politics at Wellington College. He is a regular contributor to Politics Review and an author. Neil McNaughton is an AS Principal Examiner and former Head of Politics at University College School, London. He writes for Politics Review and his books include AS UK Government and Politics Teacher Resource Pack (3rd edition). Eric Magee is an experienced teacher, Head of Department, Chief Examiner and Chair of Examiners. He was a key member of the team which produced QCA's Subject Criteria for Government and Politics, the template for the AS and A2 specifications, and is an editor of POLITICS REVIEW.
