About the Author(s):
Alexis Rickus is a head of Food and Textiles Technology in a large comprehensive school in the West Midlands. She has worked for a major awarding body as a senior examiner in both GCSE and GCE qualifications for a number of years. She is a chief examiner and principal examiner for a major awarding body.
Bev Saunder is a Head of Year in a large comprehensive school in Malvern where she is responsible for GCSE Catering and A level Home Economics: Food, Nutrition and Health. In addition she is a principal moderator for a major awarding body.
