About the Author(s):
URSULA WOODHOUSE worked in the travel and tourism industry for 10 years. She now teaches leisure, travel and tourism at levels 1-4 at City & Islington College. She has worked as an Examiner and Moderator for a range of leisure, travel and tourism qualifications for various awarding bodies.
ELISE JAMES worked in the travel and tourism industry for 11 years before teaching in FE colleges. She is now an Education Consultant involved in developing qualifications and learning materials, advising centres of delivery and assessment issues. She is also a Senior Examiner, Moderator and Verifier.
JOANNE THIRLAWAY held a management position in the travel and tourism industry before taking up a post as Lecturer at an FE college. She has extensive knowledge of the industry and has taught a wide range of subjects in this area from levels 1-4. She is currently a Principal Examiner, Principal Moderator and External Verifier for a variety of leisure, travel and tourism qualifications.
