About the Author(s):
Sarah Wakelin is Consultant Dermatologist at St Mary’s Hospital, London. She is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London. Sarah has a special interest in inflammatory and allergic skin diseases. She regularly teaches medical students and general practitioners and is also a dermatology examiner. She is also the editor of Current Medical Literature in Dermatology and a peer reviewer for four journals including the British Journal of Dermatology.
