Reviews:
This is a glossy, colourful book that any history teacher would want to pick up and flick through immediately upon seeing it...A lot of thought has clearly gone into designing different visuals in this book...It is one of the best textbooks I have seen in terms of activities and has already given me ideas on how to spice up some of my lessons.
SATH Resources Review
Ben Walsh has built up a commanding position as the leading author of history textbooks for the modern period in England and Wales...this is undoubtedly the best organized and most tightly written of his books...With it short pithy sections, excellent pictures and well-focused tasks, this is an easily used textbook which should allow a full range of pupils to gain a sound introduction to the essential moments of modern world history.
