The authors have attempted to state the law as accurately as possible until 1 February 2010. From time to time, we will also offer an updates service for the book on this page. The third update (July 2011) covers general changes to Scots Law, and is available to download now.

We would remind readers that this book is a general legal textbook and it is no substitute for expert legal advice. The authors cannot possibly set out every single possible legal scenario which might be relevant to a particular dispute or case.
