1. What does Hodder Education publish? You will find an overview of our publishing on the About Us page.
2. How do I search for a title? Select the appropriate area of the site – Schools & Colleges, Higher Education, Health Sciences, or Self-learning. Use the menu on the left of the page to select your chosen subject, from which you can then select the appropriate Publication Type, Level or Series to narrow your search and help you identify titles you are interested in. Alternatively you can use the Quick Search located on the top right of the page and search by entering ISBN, author or title, or use the Title Search.
3. Can I order directly from the site? If you wish to order using a credit card you can use our shopping basket facility and pay online. Select the title(s) you wish to purchase, click 'Add to Order Basket' and when you are ready to pay, click Go To Order Basket and follow the simple instructions.
Payment: You can pay using a credit/debit card, or if you are an Educational institution you can order direct from us on this site and request an invoice.

4. Will I be charged for postage? Ordering on our website incurs postal charges at the following rates.
Credit Card order to be sent to a UK address:
Royal Mail: £2.95 (orders over 2 kilo are £2.95 per kilo after the initial 2 kilos)
Parceline: £3.50 (orders over 2 kilo are £3.50 per kilo after the initial 2 kilos)
Credit Card order to be sent to a European address:
Economy: £7 (orders over 2 kilo are £7 per kilo after the initial 2 kilos)
Priority: £11 (orders over 2 kilo are £11 per kilo after the initial 2 kilos)
Credit Card order to be sent to an address outside of the UK or Europe:
Economy: £11 (orders over 2 kilo are £11 per kilo after the initial 2 kilos)
Priority: £15 (orders over 2 kilo are £15 per kilo after the initial 2 kilos)
Your book(s) will be sent by Air Mail and should arrive within 2 weeks.
5. How do I request an inspection copy? If we offer an inspection copy service for a particular title an 'inspection copy' button will appear on the title page alongside the description of the product. Simply click on this button, then click 'Go to Order Basket' and follow the instructions.
Books which you may wish to adopt in class sets are available on inspection. You may retain the inspection copy for up to 60 days. Within that period you may: i) keep the book free of charge, provided you purchase, or plan to purchase, 15 copies or more within the next academic year; or ii) purchase the title at the published price; or iii) return it to us in mint condition, you will be liable for any postage costs incurred in returning the items to us.
Books less likely to be adopted for class use are available on approval. Within 60 days you must either: i) purchase the book at published price; or ii) return it to us in mint condition, you will be liable for any postage costs incurred in returning the items to us.
Please note: 1. Inspection and approval copies are only sent to educational establishments, not private addresses. Books are sent carriage free, but their return is at the establishment's expense. 2. Not all of our titles are available on inspection, in which case no inspection copy button will appear on the page.
